 Full Day Timbersled Rental 

If you are renting snow bikes, we recommend that you have prior experience with machines in the backcountry, carry avalanche safety gear and know how to use it, and go with a group that is familiar with the area.

If you would like to book a guided tour in order to get familiar with snowbikes, book a trip with us here. We also offer avalanche safety clinics if you would like to gain experience with your safety equipment. 

Rentals can be picked up at our Steamboat Springs location. We provide a ramp and straps for you to transport the timbersleds and a spare gas can to carry. We can also deliver bikes to private residences upon request - we cannot transport bikes to any Forest Service trailheads for you - they will need to be picked up.

What to Expect When Renting

Rentals can be picked up at 8am and must be returned by 6pm. A late fee is incurred for any rentals not returned back by 6pm without prior notice. Discounts are available on multi-day snowbike rentals.

There is a rescue fee of $200/hour per employee who has to retrieve stuck or damaged bikes. Renter is responsible for any damage incurred during their rental period and is charged for up to three days worth of rentals if the bike cannot be fixed immediately. A $1500 deposit is taken at the time of reservation. Insurance is only available through Snowbike Colorado on guided trips.
